Sixten Njurenius hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Reine Skager made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Erik Öberg in the 31st minute of play. Ulf Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Sven-Erik Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Skager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Öberg in the 41st minute of play forced Barsele's goalkeeper Reine Skager to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kasper Levander fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barsele's protests and gave Kasper Levander a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Kasper Levander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sven-Erik Öberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bankeryd's goalkeeper Elliott Martinsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
