FC Slynor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Evert Westerstrand kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 27th play minutes Ludvig Kjellberg shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Simon Wickander and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 37th match minute, Åstol IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Alebäck to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Melker Hasselqvist from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Simon Wickander's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Greger Holmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Slynor's supporters rose to their feet, but Greger Holmberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Wickander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Greger Holmberg got free with Simon Wickander in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Åstol IK's Evert Westerstrand got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a little luck, FC Slynor's Jonatan Sundin got control of the ball when Edgar Strandberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 60 minutes on the clock, Birger Ferm commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 62 minutes into the match, FC Slynor's Stig-Arne Skoog sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Wickander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bo Söder kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ludvig Kjellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Simon Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Greger Holmberg struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Simon Wickander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Slynor. After having played for 70 minutes, Ludvig Kjellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Slynor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludvig Kjellberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melker Hasselqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Greger Holmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Wickander having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Åstol IK's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Holmberg came free, but Simon Wickander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Wickander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludvig Kjellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Edgar Strandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Sundin having to interfere.
