In the 6th match minute, Åstol IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Delin to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Evert Westerstrand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åstol IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Westerstrand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Wickander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Åkesson in the 14th minute of play. Olov Ahlkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Westerstrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Westerstrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Ahlkvist having to interfere. Edgar Strandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olov Ahlkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Delin in the 29th minute. In the 40th minute, Ingvar Åkesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingvar Åkesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Wickander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Simon Wickander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingvar Åkesson to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Åstol IK's Edgar Strandberg got a free kick in the 50th minute. Evert Westerstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Olov Ahlkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Wickander made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Albert Karlsson sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evert Westerstrand in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olov Ahlkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgar Strandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Olov Ahlkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evert Westerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, FC Narnia's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Westerstrand came free, but Olov Ahlkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Staffan Smed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, FC Narnia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Sigfridsson to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markus Delin during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Allan Palmquist sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Åstol IK's Simon Wickander didn't even have to move. 87 minutes into the match, Åstol IK's goalkeeper Simon Wickander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albert Karlsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Edgar Strandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åstol IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Strandberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Ahlkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Åstol IK getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Alexander Axelsson hit a great ball. FC Narnia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
