Spectators: 7364 (Terracing: 5524, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hannes Backlund took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Alexander Mozzoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eightball IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Mozzoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th match minute, Mariefred was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Lundström to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mariefred's Ludvig Bern got control of the ball when Ingvar Bryngelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ludvig Bern made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Cui Sang sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute David Pååk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludvig Bern saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wictor Törnblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Hagström having to interfere. Mariefred's Hannes Backlund got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Eightball IF's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Backlund came free, but Jesper Hagström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cui Sang in the 26th minute of play forced Mariefred's goalkeeper Ludvig Bern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Eightball IF's Cui Sang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ludvig Bern made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a little luck, Mariefred's Ludvig Bern got control of the ball when Cui Sang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ludvig Bern took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henric Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Mariefred's goal looked a bit too open when Cui Sang came free, but Ludvig Bern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Henric Gustafsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ludvig Bern. Henric Gustafsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Mozzoni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Alexander Mozzoni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ludvig Bern was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute, Hannes Backlund fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jesper Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Backlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Mozzoni in the 76th minute of play forced Mariefred's goalkeeper Ludvig Bern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Hannes Backlund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jesper Hagström. Hannes Backlund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Hannes Backlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesper Hagström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hannes Backlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariefred's Ludvig Bern played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Mozzoni in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Alexander Mozzoni notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Mariefred's Ludvig Bern. Ludvig Bern was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ludvig Bern showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Mozzoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Cui Sang scored 5-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ludvig Bern, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Eightball IF fully deserved thier win.
