Ivar Ambjörnsson was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Magnus Igelström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magnus Igelström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Henry Njurenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Magnus Igelström made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas is back's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Hansson came free, but Henry Njurenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes, Wilhelm Holmberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ninjas in Pyjamas is back and the Lingbo RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lingbo RK booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas is back was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Holmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ola Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. Rickard Mattsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Jakobsson got free with Ralf Arvidsson in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magnus Igelström struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Henry Njurenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lingbo RK. In the 91stth minute of the game Magnus Igelström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ninjas in Pyjamas is back's Henry Njurenius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tobias Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ninjas in Pyjamas is back walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
