Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Surte's Rutger Nordstedt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jon Tingberg got free with Jan-Erik Björkman in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Valentin Soned managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surte's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Soned was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Erik Björkman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6 minutes into the match, Surte's Jon Tingberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Erik Björkman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rutger Nordstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jan-Erik Björkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Lind in the 11th minute of play forced Surte's goalkeeper Hieronim Bubczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Surte booed when Viksjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Fastesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Carl Hääger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Erik Björkman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Staffan Aleberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hieronim Bubczyk. Surte's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Per Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Elias Högberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Högberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Högberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hieronim Bubczyk having to interfere. Jan-Erik Björkman made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Jon Tingberg sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Lind made a kick off. If Rutger Nordstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan-Erik Björkman came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Surte's Jon Tingberg. But to his dismay, Jon Tingberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jan-Erik Björkman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rutger Nordstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Elias Högberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hieronim Bubczyk was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Per Lind capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Per Lind really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Hieronim Bubczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Lind in the 70th minute of play. Hieronim Bubczyk made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Elias Högberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute Per Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Bubczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Högberg struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Hieronim Bubczyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viksjö. In the 86th minute, Per Lind fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hieronim Bubczyk, passed just outside the right post. Viksjö's Elias Högberg got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hieronim Bubczyk having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
