Spectators: 7361 (Terracing: 5521, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oliver Smefeldt got the match started through his kick off. Österskär RK's Stig-Ove Lundqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 minutes, Rune Arenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Höganäs United and the Österskär RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Rune Arenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Österskär RK's Börje Johnsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Folke Kilström. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 36th minute, Stig-Ove Lundqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Österskär RK's Sigvard Hök got a free kick in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Österskär RK's zone, Holger Björkqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Göransson came out of the goal and Holger Björkqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Folke Kilström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börje Johnsson in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes Österskär RK got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Lundqvist. In the 46th minute Oliver Smefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Börje Johnsson to make the kick off. 65 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Smed cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Folke Kilström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Börje Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Börje Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Kilström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Börje Johnsson in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folke Kilström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Börje Johnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Folke Kilström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Österskär RK's Sigvard Hök got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute Oliver Smefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Stig-Ove Lundqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Österskär RK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
