Jimmie Hellqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 played minutes, Salbohed's Börge Söderström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jimmie Hellqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Salbohed reached it. During the 28th minute of the match Tomas Helström completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tomas Helström a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 28 minutes into the game, one of Salbohed:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aaron Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Mellin having to interfere. If Sten Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Salbohed booed when Nässjö IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Simon Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Mellin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Ulrik Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Hellqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sten Mellin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salbohed's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albin Björnberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 93 minutes into the match, Salbohed's goalkeeper Sten Mellin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Hellström. Nässjö IF's Sten Hellström pulled a muscle in his back after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 95 minutes into the game, Alf Johansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salbohed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nässjö IF the free kick. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Salbohed!
