Rune Wassenius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patric Ivarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 15th minute Stig-Ove Vennerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Walter Holmstedt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patric Ivarsson. Walter Holmstedt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Rune Wassenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Strömsberg's Johnny Anundsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Sjögren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aron Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Anundsson in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lugnvik's Christopher Öman got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Strömsberg's Bernt Sillén couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lugnvik. Johnny Anundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aron Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Ove Vennerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig-Ove Vennerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Sjögren having to interfere.

Stig-Ove Vennerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard and well directed shot from Bernt Sillén led 67 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Lugnvik's Aron Sjögren became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. The supporters of Strömsberg booed when Lugnvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Öman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johnny Anundsson in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aron Sjögren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aron Sjögren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johnny Anundsson in the 76th minute. When Strömsberg's Stig-Ove Vennerberg in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Walter Holmstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Patric Ivarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig-Ove Vennerberg's late challenge caught a Lugnvik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Ove Vennerberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lugnvik booed when Strömsberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Vennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Lugnvik supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Strömsberg's performance. The match ended with a win for Strömsberg.
