After 19 played minutes FC Bjälklaget got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Thorsberg. Limhamns IF's Viktor Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Ekblom in the 22nd minute of play. Jens-Åke Ekblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Månsson having to interfere. August Mattsson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Jens-Åke Ekblom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Månsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some careless play in the Limhamns IF defense, Jens-Åke Ekblom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Månsson. The Limhamns IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Månsson should have stopped the shot. Stig-Arne Thorsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Viktor Månsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Oskar Bern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Christian Jakobsson made a precise shot to the right of Viktor Månsson. Limhamns IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Åke Ekblom to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Limhamns IF's goalkeeper Viktor Månsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Limhamns IF's zone, Christian Jakobsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Månsson came out of the goal and Christian Jakobsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Jakobsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktor Månsson having to make a save. In the 57thth minute of the game Christian Jakobsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limhamns IF's Viktor Månsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viktor Månsson was a little too slow when Jens-Åke Ekblom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 61st minute, Stig-Arne Thorsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Oskar Bern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Månsson having to interfere. If Stig-Arne Thorsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villiam Åström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Bjälklaget getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Christian Jakobsson hit a great ball. Olof Påk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jens-Åke Ekblom struck a weak shot in the 80th minute.
