Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sädeslaget's Peter Vennerlund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Wictor Nyqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Björkdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Olof Lekberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patric Mårtensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Öberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Allan Viklund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eric Öberg. The goal made the score 1-0. Eric Öberg made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Allan Viklund sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patric Mårtensson got free with Eric Öberg in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Allan Viklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vitå IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Eric Öberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Sandell in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Tommy Häll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Patric Mårtensson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vitå IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. With a little luck, Sädeslaget's Eric Öberg got control of the ball when Patric Mårtensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Wilhelm Sandell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitå IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilhelm Sandell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Öberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Allan Viklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patric Mårtensson made a kick off. Allan Viklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Allan Viklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute of the match Vitå IK got a corner. Sädeslaget's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Olof Lekberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Olof Lekberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eric Öberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 79 minutes into the game, Vitå IK's Allan Viklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Öberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Wilhelm Sandell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Patric Mårtensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eric Öberg was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 86 minutes of play, Vitå IK's Olof Lekberg made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Öberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 93 minutes, Patric Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vitå IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patric Mårtensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eric Öberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Viklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitå IK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
