The supporters of Grängesberg booed when Granatpulver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredric Gråberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Granatpulver's Daniel Wållander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Granatpulver from getting a goal against them. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Måns Bruse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Abrahamsson. Grängesberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Måns Bruse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After having played for 73 minutes, Agne Esbjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granatpulver's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agne Esbjörnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Granatpulver's Fredric Gråberg got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Johnny Kjellbom came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Granatpulver fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Kjellbom couldn't finish the play. Erik Abrahamsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Esbjörnsson in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Edgar Lindberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Edgar Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edgar Lindberg came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Granatpulver fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Lindberg couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grängesberg's goalkeeper Erik Abrahamsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
