After a defensive mix-up in Åtvidaberg Syrianska FC's zone, Måns Bruse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Linquist came out of the goal and Måns Bruse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Wållander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göran Hedvall in the 19th minute. Johnny Kjellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Linquist having to interfere. If Måns Bruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Åtvidaberg Syrianska FC got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Norberg. Emil Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Pihl, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 32nd minute, Johan Pihl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granatpulver fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Agne Esbjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Emil Linquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Måns Bruse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edgar Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, Granatpulver's Edgar Lindberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Linquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Måns Bruse to make the kick off. Vilhelm Ahlkvist hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Johnny Kjellbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johnny Kjellbom during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute Bengt Sävström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Wållander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Wållander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Hedvall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Åtvidaberg Syrianska FC's goalkeeper Emil Linquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johnny Kjellbom. A hard shot 68 in the game by Edgar Lindberg from a close distance when the talented Emil Linquist managed to make a qualified save. Åtvidaberg Syrianska FC's players were relieved. When Agne Esbjörnsson came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Granatpulver fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agne Esbjörnsson couldn't finish the play. Johnny Kjellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Edgar Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granatpulver's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Lindberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Lindberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Linquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Edgar Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granatpulver's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Lindberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Linquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Granatpulver's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
