Edvard Wållander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edvard Wållander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes, Edvard Wållander made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tranemo's Kurt Benet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pelle Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Kurt Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Wållander in the 23rd minute of the match. Edvard Wållander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pelle Bergqvist struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Kurt Benet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anderstorp. If Pelle Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Wållander in the 38th minute of the match. Edvard Wållander might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurt Benet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edvard Wållander ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilbert Ahlbom to strike the kick off in the second half. Kurt Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Wållander in the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edvard Wållander in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kurt Benet saved Tranemo from getting behind. The supporters of Anderstorp booed when Tranemo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elof Rydberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pelle Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Benet having to interfere. Tranemo's Kurt Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Wållander in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Tranemo's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Stor came free, but Kurt Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Ralf Blomkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pelle Bergqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edvard Wållander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A nice corner shot did that Isac Stor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kurt Benet quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match was over Anderstorp could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tranemo throughout the match.
