Spectators: 7085 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 30) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gilbert Ahlbom started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig Hult during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes Tranemo got a freekick which was hit by Stig Hult. Sebastian Nordström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Benet having to interfere. Max Tunander kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Thomas Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Bergström, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Jonathan Gudmundsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Jonathan Gudmundsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tranemo's Fabian Forsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Elof Rydberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tranemo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mantorp RK the free kick. Elof Rydberg kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Thomas Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Bergström in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Tranemo's Gilbert Ahlbom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Björklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Tranemo's goalkeeper Kurt Benet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Nordström. Thomas Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Ahlbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Sebastian Nordström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Kurt Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hjalmar Stenman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sebastian Nordström came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Mantorp RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Nordström couldn't finish the play. Robin Broberg struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Kurt Benet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mantorp RK. Kurt Benet made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Sebastian Nordström sent off a good shot on target. Kurt Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Nordström in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Nordström to strike the kick off in the second half. Max Tunander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Kurt Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes of play Tranemo's Elof Rydberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Tranemo getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Elof Rydberg hit a great ball. If Sebastian Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard, long distance shot from Hjalmar Stenman flew over the goal. Sebastian Nordström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tranemo's Charles Bergström got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hjalmar Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Tranemo's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Nordström came free, but Kurt Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mantorp RK's Max Tunander got a free kick in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Bergström got free with Thomas Björklund in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexander Tingelholm hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mantorp RK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tim Eliasson hit a great ball. Kurt Benet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Nordström's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Sebastian Nordström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kurt Benet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastian Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Benet having to interfere.
