Spectators: 7304 (Terracing: 5479, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mikael Boberg started the match with the kick off. Gilbert Ahlbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles Bergström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilbert Ahlbom did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Joseph Ek 18 minutes into the match. Joseph Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Ahlbom in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Stig Hult left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tranemo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 25th minute Gilbert Ahlbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Ek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes Gilbert Ahlbom rounded FC Tanedva's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Charles Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Ek having to interfere. Joseph Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Ahlbom in the 33rd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Elof Västerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joseph Ek came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Tranemo's Gilbert Ahlbom. But to his dismay, Gilbert Ahlbom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Gilbert Ahlbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Joseph Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Charles Bergström could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Joseph Ek however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilbert Ahlbom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Gilbert Ahlbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tranemo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Ahlbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tranemo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
