The supporters of El Razcon Jedan booed when Malmö FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Lundhberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Malmö FF's Mikael Springfält got a free kick in the 11th minute. Michel Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Vall, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Ove Snell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Hansson. Malmö FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ove Snell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Michel Hansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Vall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Malmö FF's Tor Lundhberg got a free kick in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Malmö FF's George Odman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hannes Henriksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. George Odman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hannes Henriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliot Snell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, El Razcon Jedan's Mårten Sjöman got a free kick in the 36th minute. Elliot Snell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Hannes Henriksson made a huge save. When Elliot Snell came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Malmö FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elliot Snell couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, George Odman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Odman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hannes Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliot Snell in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Elliot Snell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malmö FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Elliot Snell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannes Henriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the El Razcon Jedan defense, George Odman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hannes Henriksson. The El Razcon Jedan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hannes Henriksson should have stopped the shot. Ove Snell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Hansson having to interfere. Henrik Vall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Henrik Vall came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the El Razcon Jedan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Vall couldn't finish the play. El Razcon Jedan's Henrik Vall was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Elliot Snell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Erik Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, El Razcon Jedan's goal looked a bit too open when Elliot Snell came free, but Hannes Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elliot Snell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrik Vall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Hansson having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Malmö FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ove Snell fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 95th match minute, Malmö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Springfält to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched El Razcon Jedan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
