Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd match minute, Pålsboda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Tinglöf to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Åke Smed in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustav Smedfeldt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andréas Bark blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustav Smedfeldt having to make a save. 19 minutes into the match, Motala RK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Gustavsson came free, but Jarl Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Fabian Engström put in a rough tackle. 21 minutes into the game, one of Motala RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 31 minutes into the match, Motala RK's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Hansson came free, but Jarl Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pålsboda's Viktor Hansson got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viktor Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jarl Duset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Hansson in the 44th minute of play forced Motala RK's goalkeeper Jarl Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Pålsboda were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viktor Hansson to strike the kick off in the second half. Jarl Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Vincent Tinglöf kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Karl Gustavsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Motala RK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Johnny Andreasson hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Pålsboda's Viktor Hansson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the last second Jarl Duset throw himself and got hold of the ball when Viktor Hansson in the 68thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Andréas Bark struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gustav Smedfeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Motala RK. After a defensive mix-up in Pålsboda's zone, Per-Oskar Västerstrand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustav Smedfeldt came out of the goal and Per-Oskar Västerstrand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andréas Bark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Karl Gustavsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Jarl Duset however easily saved by the left post. Viktor Hansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Motala RK's Jarl Duset got control of the ball when Karl Gustavsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertil Haraldsson during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jarl Duset made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Karl Gustavsson sent off a good shot on target. If Karl Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Pålsboda supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pålsboda would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
