Georg Lööf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Bark in the 12th minute of the match. Eric Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Duset having to interfere. Eric Ek in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jarl Duset, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kista FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Ek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarl Duset breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jens Hamnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Sven-Åke Smed made the kick off in the second half. Andréas Bark blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georg Lööf having to make a save. Kista FF's Georg Lööf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Åke Smed in the 56th minute of play. Andréas Barks short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Georg Lööf to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kista FF's goalkeeper Georg Lööf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jarl Duset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Jespersson in the 66th minute of the match. Motala RK's Jarl Duset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Ek in the 83rd minute of play. Jarl Duset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eric Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Jespersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jarl Duset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Kista FF were the better team. Kista FF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
