Örjan Sandström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Torsten Kielstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ted Olofsson came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Limhamn IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Olofsson couldn't finish the play. If Örjan Sandström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torsten Kielstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Sandström in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Limhamn IF. Ernst Lund stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Torsten Kielstedt. 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Simon United's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Olofsson came free, but Torsten Kielstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ted Olofsson struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Torsten Kielstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limhamn IF. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Örjan Sandström in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Kielstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Limhamn IF's Örjan Sandström in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Simon United's goalie prevented a goal. Georg Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Ekelund struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Georg Bergman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simon United. 41 minutes into the match, Simon United's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Sandström came free, but Torsten Kielstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torsten Kielstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ted Olofsson's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Jakob Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Bergman having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Simon United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Villiam Åkerström to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 47 minutes, Ted Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limhamn IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Olofsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Limhamn IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Georg Bergman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Ekelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Torsten Kielstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Siggman in the 60th minute of play. Ted Olofsson hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Roy Ekelund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Bergman having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örjan Sandström got free with Torsten Kielstedt in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Örjan Sandström in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Torsten Kielstedt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Örjan Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Simon United's Torsten Kielstedt got control of the ball when Örjan Sandström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Örjan Sandström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torsten Kielstedt made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Ted Olofsson sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jakob Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simon United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Lindqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georg Bergman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Limhamn IF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Simon United from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
