In the 3rd match minute, Öxabäck BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Uter to maneuver through the defense. If Rune Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Vennerström in the 13th minute of play forced Öxabäck BK's goalkeeper Michael Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Åke Vennerström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Michael Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rune Mattsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Morgan Vester made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rune Mattsson got free with Morgan Vester in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Gösta Jakobsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Öxabäck BK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Vennerström came free, but Michael Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Petter Kock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Öxabäck BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petter Kock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rune Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Vester having to interfere. With a little luck, Finspång's Morgan Vester got control of the ball when Rune Mattsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rune Mattsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Morgan Vester made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Petter Kock notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Finspång's Morgan Vester. Morgan Vester was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henry Hjelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rune Mattsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Morgan Vester read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petter Kock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Morgan Vester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petter Kock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Morgan Vester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Erik Ek hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Harry Högström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Finspång's Morgan Vester didn't even have to move. 63 minutes into the match, Öxabäck BK's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Hjelm came free, but Michael Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Kock in the 74th minute of play forced Finspång's goalkeeper Morgan Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Stig-Åke Vennerström came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Finspång fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig-Åke Vennerström couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Finspång booed when Öxabäck BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Nilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morgan Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Mattsson in the 85th minute of the match. If Petter Kock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute of the match Stefan Bagge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Morgan Vester skillfully saved the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Petter Kock notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Finspång's Morgan Vester. Morgan Vester was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Öxabäck BK had won after a very even match.
