Folke Forsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Folke Forsberg made a precise shot to the right of Per Falck. bunnahabhain's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Colin during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Lyrestad:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of bunnahabhain:s goal. In the 20th minute, Sten Hellström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johnny Flinck came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nils Örtendahl could save by the left post. If Folke Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyrestad's Folke Forsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Johnny Flinck came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the bunnahabhain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Flinck couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the game, Lyrestad's Villiam Brovall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per Falck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Villiam Brovall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyrestad's supporters rose to their feet, but Villiam Brovall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Falck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Folke Forsberg made a precise shot to the right of Per Falck. bunnahabhain's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Arman Wennerqvist made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Lyrestad defense, Arman Wennerqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils Örtendahl. The Lyrestad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils Örtendahl should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the game, Bengt Valler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lyrestad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave bunnahabhain the free kick. After 56 played minutes Lyrestad got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Valler. Per Falck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folke Forsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Lyrestad's goal looked a bit too open when Arman Wennerqvist came free, but Nils Örtendahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnny Flinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nils Örtendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lyrestad's Nils Örtendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Flinck in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lyrestad's zone, Johnny Flinck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Örtendahl came out of the goal and Johnny Flinck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Villiam Brovall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The tension between the bunnahabhain and the Lyrestad players grew even worse after the yellow card. 84 minutes into the game, Leif Malmgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
