Spectators: 6686 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 0) After 2 played minutes Mjöbäck got a freekick which was hit by Leif Forsman. In the 5th minute Inge Brogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mjöbäck's goalkeeper Walter Caspersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 9 minutes, Mikael Almkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mjöbäck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Almkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Mjöbäck getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Elof Ekgren hit a great ball. Leif Forsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Claes Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walter Caspersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Holm in the 22nd minute of the match. Surte's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Mikael Almkvist scored to the left of an out of position Claes Lindgren, making the score, 1-0. Claes Lindgren was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Oskar Dahlkvist. Andreas Dahlbom kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kjell Holm in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Caspersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inge Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Caspersson having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Kjell Holm made the kick off in the second half. Elof Ekgren kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mjöbäck's Walter Caspersson got control of the ball when Inge Brogren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Kjell Holm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surte's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell Holm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Caspersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Surte's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Almkvist came free, but Claes Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claes Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Forsman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikael Almkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Lindgren having to interfere. Walter Caspersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Holm, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 77 minutes, Inge Brogren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Surte and the Mjöbäck players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Surte got a freekick which was hit by Inge Brogren. Leif Forsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Claes Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kjell Holm came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Surte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell Holm couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Kjell Holm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walter Caspersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inge Brogren in the 93rd minute. Kjell Holm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inge Brogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Walter Caspersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Surte played a much better game than Mjöbäck and deserved their victory. The Mjöbäck players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
