Krister Törnblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Kruse having to interfere. In the 11th minute Krister Törnblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Kruse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Grycksbo IF's Olov Kling got a free kick in the 12th minute. Roger Kruse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Björk's late challenge caught a Grycksbo IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunnar Björk helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Grycksbo IF booed when Brämhult BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egon Jönsson, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nils-Erik Arenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kent Löv made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Wickander in the 23rd minute. Nils-Erik Arenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joakim Olsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Kruse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. If Krister Törnblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
