Elof Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Kent Löv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stellan Näver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Löv having to interfere. Kent Löv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Hård, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. With a little luck, Mean Machine United's Börje Hellström got control of the ball when Krister Törnblom tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to Brämhult BK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gunnar Björk hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Elof Berggren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kent Löv was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Börje Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Törnblom in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Thomas Nilsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brämhult BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mean Machine United the free kick. If Joakim Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Löv made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elof Berggren in the 84th minute. During the 85th minute of the match Thomas Nilsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Thomas Nilsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 85 played minutes Brämhult BK got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Nilsson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Ove Billvall during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 92 minutes into the match, Brämhult BK's goalkeeper Kent Löv had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elof Berggren. If Krister Törnblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krister Törnblom took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Börje Hellström. Börje Hellström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
