Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ulf Petersson kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Ersmark IF booed when Gnosjö BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Berggren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Olof Dalgren was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Gnosjö BF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Walter Berggren hit a great ball. Per-Åke Lange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Göransson having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gnosjö BF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Sigvard Göransson had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Sven-Olof Dalgren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Gnosjö BF getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ulf Petersson hit a great ball. Sven-Olof Dalgren was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulf Petersson during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gnosjö BF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ulf Petersson hit a great ball. If Pelle Adelsköld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pelle Adelsköld made a kick off. If Pelle Adelsköld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pelle Adelsköld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sigvard Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Pelle Adelsköld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigvard Göransson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per-Åke Lange went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Sigvard Göransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Adelsköld in the 72nd minute of the match. Per-Åke Lange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sigvard Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Georg Apelqvist fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gnosjö BF's protests and gave Georg Apelqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Sigvard Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Adelsköld, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Pelle Adelsköld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sigvard Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Åke Lange, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Ersmark IF's Pelle Adelsköld got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigvard Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilian Nyberg in the 95th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Maximilian Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ersmark IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximilian Nyberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Göransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximilian Nyberg struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Sigvard Göransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ersmark IF.
