Torsten Nordgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bens grabbar's goalkeeper Ola Erserman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Fagerfjäll's zone, Nils Martinsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Bryngelsson came out of the goal and Nils Martinsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils Martinsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Carl Bryngelsson made a huge save. Bens grabbar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andreas Sundberg in the 29th minute. A nice corner shot did that Andreas Sundberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carl Bryngelsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anton Duset's late challenge caught a Fagerfjäll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Duset helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Wall in the 37th minute of play forced Bens grabbar's goalkeeper Ola Erserman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ola Erserman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Wall in the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Torsten Nordgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ola Erserman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Bens grabbar's Nils Martinsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carl Bryngelsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Torsten Nordgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fagerfjäll booed when Bens grabbar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Löfkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ola Erserman made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Torsten Nordgren sent off a good shot on target. If Nils Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils Martinsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nils Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Carl Bryngelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carl Bryngelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Ödmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Bens grabbar's goalkeeper Ola Erserman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torsten Nordgren. Kurt Wall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torsten Nordgren was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Fagerfjäll's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Carl Bryngelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Martinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 90 minutes, Torbjörn Löfkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bens grabbar and the Fagerfjäll players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ola Erserman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Magne Vennerdal. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Sune Ödmann sped through Fagerfjäll's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carl Bryngelsson. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fagerfjäll players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bens grabbar.
