With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Axel Olofsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Stöcke IF's Karl-Axel Olofsson got control of the ball when Harry Kvick tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Ivan Johansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stöcke IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Salabacke the free kick. Ivan Johansson hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Göran Gudmundsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl-Axel Olofsson. Göran Gudmundsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Stöcke IF's Karl-Axel Olofsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Stöcke IF from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Göran Gudmundsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Axel Olofsson. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 28th minute Ove Skark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Öfverman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joseph Öfverman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Skark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stöcke IF's Ove Skark got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Axel Olofsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Gudmundsson in the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Hans Österlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stöcke IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Österlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joseph Öfverman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Skark in the 44th minute of the match. Hans Österlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ove Skark was the one to do the kick off. Göran Gudmundsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Harry Kvick came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FC Salabacke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Kvick couldn't finish the play. Martin Lindblom took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joseph Öfverman. FC Salabacke's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ove Skark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joseph Öfverman was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 63 minutes into the game, Sigvard Säv was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ivan Johansson got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ivan Johansson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Karl-Axel Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Gudmundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Karl-Axel Olofsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Gudmundsson in the 77th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Harry Kvick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Axel Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ove Skark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Salabacke's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
