Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sandared's Axel Dahlquist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nils Esbjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Johan Kjellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Stat Kings booed when Sandared was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Söderquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johan Kjellberg came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Stat Kings's Nils Esbjörnsson. But to his dismay, Nils Esbjörnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nils Esbjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Johan Kjellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Sandared's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Esbjörnsson came free, but Johan Kjellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Dahlquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Månsson having to interfere. If Marcus Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marcus Abrahamsson came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Stat Kings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Abrahamsson couldn't finish the play. Johan Kjellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Esbjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Dahlquist in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Månsson saved Stat Kings from getting behind. When Nils Esbjörnsson came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Stat Kings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Esbjörnsson couldn't finish the play. Valentin Tunberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Månsson having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Sandared got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Åke Hedin. Nils Esbjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandared's Johan Kjellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Abrahamsson in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils Esbjörnsson was the one to do the kick off. Valentin Tunberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Douglas Månsson having to make a save. 52 minutes into the game, Sandared's Axel Dahlquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Douglas Månsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Marcus Abrahamsson struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Johan Kjellberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stat Kings. Valentin Tunberg took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Månsson. Douglas Månsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Johan Kjellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Esbjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig-Åke Hedin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Kennet Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Tunberg in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Månsson saved Stat Kings from getting behind. After having played for 78 minutes, Marcus Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stat Kings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Abrahamsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Abrahamsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Abrahamsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Johan Kjellberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 84th minute Marcus Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Kjellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Månsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Tunberg in the 86th minute of play. Marcus Abrahamsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Johan Kjellberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Stat Kings's Nils Esbjörnsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. When Marcus Abrahamsson came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Stat Kings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Abrahamsson couldn't finish the play.
