With 33 minutes on the clock, Jan-Erik Henriksson commited a dangerous tackle. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes in the game, Claes Sandström fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leonard Söderström having to interfere. If Ernst Gummeson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claes Sandström got free with Leonard Söderström in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. blatte-power had won after a very even match.
