The audience thought a goal was coming when Dick Bratt got free with Johan Kjellberg in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Sandared getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Axel Dahlquist hit a great ball. After 18th play minutes Yngve Ekgren shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Johan Kjellberg and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Dahlquist in the 21st minute of play forced Vidsel FK's goalkeeper Rudolf Kjellqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 27 in the game by Dick Bratt from a close distance when the talented Johan Kjellberg managed to make a qualified save. Sandared's players were relieved. Axel Dahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Axel Dahlquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johan Kjellberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yngve Ekgren in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Kjellberg saved Sandared from getting behind. 45 minutes into the game, Valentin Tunberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Rudolf Kjellqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yngve Ekgren to strike the kick off in the second half. Johan Kjellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Bratt, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sandared's Johan Kjellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yngve Ekgren in the 55th minute of play. When Reine Petersson fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vidsel FK's protests and gave Reine Petersson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sandared booed when Vidsel FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reine Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Dahlquist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudolf Kjellqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Dick Bratt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Kjellberg having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Sandared's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Bratt came free, but Johan Kjellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dick Bratt struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Johan Kjellberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vidsel FK. Kennet Bogren charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kennet Bogren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sandared's Kennet Bogren got a free kick in the 68th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Sandared's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Bratt came free, but Johan Kjellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Axel Dahlquist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rudolf Kjellqvist. The goal made the score 1-4. Rudolf Kjellqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Tunberg in the 85th minute. Axel Dahlquist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rudolf Kjellqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Axel Dahlquist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 93rd minute. Sandared's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
