Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ture Siggman took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 6 played minutes Stockholm FF got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Wallgren. In the 7th minute, Arvin Siöman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Pååk came free, but Hans Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Pååk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Stockholm FF's Ulf Pååk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Askstedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 17 played minutes Mellbystrand got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Kjellberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Forsell in the 19th minute of play forced Stockholm FF's goalkeeper Tor Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Stockholm FF's Patrik Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 19th minute. Tor Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Forsell in the 26th minute of play. Patrik Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jakob Månsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tor Engström came out and tried to block the shot, but Jakob Månsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 32nd minute. Ulf Pååk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Askstedt having to interfere. In the 41st minute Jakob Månsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulf Pååk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hans Askstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivar Forsell made a kick off. Hans Askstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Pååk, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Ulf Pååk came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Stockholm FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Pååk couldn't finish the play. Ivar Forsell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Patrik Abrahamsson fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stockholm FF's protests and gave Patrik Abrahamsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mellbystrand booed when Stockholm FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tor Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Forsell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerry Stor kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Jakob Månsson's late challenge caught a Stockholm FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jakob Månsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Stockholm FF booed when Mellbystrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Månsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Ivar Forsell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Ulf Pååk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulf Pååk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Jakob Månsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
