Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ivar Forsell started the match with the kick off. Folke Vibjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Askstedt having to interfere. Folke Vibjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Hans Askstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximilian Glad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Askstedt having to interfere. The supporters of Mellbystrand booed when Nol IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Bergkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Ove Strömberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Forsell in the 15th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Tom Carlsson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Sven-Ove Strömberg was a little too slow when Jakob Månsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 27 played minutes Mellbystrand got a freekick which was hit by Torgny Bållström. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximilian Glad in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Askstedt saved Mellbystrand from getting behind. Sven-Ove Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Forsell, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Sven-Ove Strömberg made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Konrad Kjellberg sent off a good shot on target. After 34 played minutes Mellbystrand got a freekick which was hit by Torgny Bållström. Sven-Ove Strömberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Maximilian Glad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximilian Glad hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Jakob Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Hans Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folke Vibjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximilian Glad was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Nol IK defense, Mathias Gunnarsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Ove Strömberg. The Nol IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Ove Strömberg should have stopped the shot. Mellbystrand's Hans Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Vibjörnsson in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Månsson in the 65th minute of play forced Nol IK's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Nol IK defense, Konrad Kjellberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Ove Strömberg. The Nol IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Ove Strömberg should have stopped the shot. Sven-Ove Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Kjellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Maximilian Glad took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hans Askstedt. Hans Askstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 78th minute, Jakob Månsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Ove Strömberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Kåre Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Sven-Ove Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Bållström in the 85th minute of play. Maximilian Glad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Askstedt having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Maximilian Glad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans Askstedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Nol IK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
