Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gustaf Haraldsson kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivar Forsell in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Dahlkvist saved Bredared IF from getting behind. After having played for 7 minutes, Torgny Bållström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mellbystrand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torgny Bållström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Torgny Bållström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Einar Skräddare hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Gunnar Dahlkvist came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Mellbystrand's Ivar Forsell. But to his dismay, Ivar Forsell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Bredared IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Forsell came free, but Gunnar Dahlkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Bredared IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Forsell came free, but Gunnar Dahlkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Einar Skräddare during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mellbystrand booed when Bredared IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Skräddare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Dahlkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Forsell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes, Bredared IF's Jan-Olof Salkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hans Askstedt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bredared IF reached it. Ivar Forsell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gunnar Dahlkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Torgny Bållström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gunnar Dahlkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivar Forsell to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Oskar Almqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bredared IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Oskar Almqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Askstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th of the match, Ivar Forsell tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Gunnar Dahlkvist got in the way and made a wonderful save. Oskar Almqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oskar Almqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Oskar Almqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Bredared IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Forsell came free, but Gunnar Dahlkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torgny Bållström struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Gunnar Dahlkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mellbystrand. When Mellbystrand's Ivar Forsell in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bredared IF's goalie prevented a goal. Torgny Bållström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Dahlkvist having to interfere. Gunnar Dahlkvist made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Torgny Bållström sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the game, Torgny Bållström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gunnar Dahlkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74thth minute of the game Ivar Forsell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bredared IF's Gunnar Dahlkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Torgny Bållström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Forsell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jakob Månsson fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mellbystrand's protests and gave Jakob Månsson a yellow card for diving instead. Jakob Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand's Torgny Bållström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gunnar Dahlkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mellbystrand's Torgny Bållström got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gunnar Dahlkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Forsell, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ivar Forsell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivar Forsell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Dahlkvist having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Mellbystrand left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bredared IF.
