Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eskil Bern took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes West got a freekick which was hit by Jan Sandström. Hannes Forssell, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Måns Söderlund scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sonny Walroth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Broaryd's zone, Måns Söderlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sonny Walroth came out of the goal and Måns Söderlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Eskil Bern managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Broaryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eskil Bern was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gösta Alkvist was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Eskil Bern capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eskil Bern really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. With a little luck, West's Gösta Alkvist got control of the ball when Karl-Oskar Gummeson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Oskar Gummeson charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Oskar Gummeson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gösta Alkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eskil Bern's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Eskil Bern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Alkvist having to interfere. Karl-Oskar Gummeson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Alkvist having to interfere. Sonny Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Söderlund in the 46th minute of the match.

West's Gösta Alkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eskil Bern in the 56th minute of play. If Karl-Oskar Gummeson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Boström during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to West getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Robin Boström hit a great ball. After some careless play in the West defense, Karl-Oskar Gummeson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gösta Alkvist. The West fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gösta Alkvist should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Gummeson in the 72nd minute of play forced West's goalkeeper Gösta Alkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Eskil Bern had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gösta Alkvist. West's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eskil Bern was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Eskil Bern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gösta Alkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gösta Alkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskil Bern, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eskil Bern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Oskar Gummeson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Alkvist having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eskil Bern in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Alkvist saved West from getting behind. Karl-Oskar Gummeson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gösta Alkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Eskil Bern's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gösta Alkvist was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. Broaryd's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
