The referee ignored Reftele IF's protests and gave Manfred Sundberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Reftele IF got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Sundberg. If Sonny Giöck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Kongshojs boys's Sonny Giöck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Telin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reftele IF's Eric Telin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Giöck in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximilian Berg got free with Eric Telin in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximilian Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Reine Lundblad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johan Asklöv was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 78 minutes of play, Reftele IF's Reine Lundblad made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johan Asklöv was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Kongshojs boys's Roger Vallander got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Michel Hylander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Asklöv having to interfere. If Oskar Wiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Telin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sonny Giöck in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Telin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reftele IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
