Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1610, VIP seats: 140) Reftele IF's Reine Lundblad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kjell Linqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Eric Telin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tobias Hjälm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Sundberg hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Kjell Linqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frösön's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell Linqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Reftele IF booed when Frösön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Linqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kjell Linqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eric Telin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils-Åke Åkerman lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Reftele IF a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David Hultman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Frösön's Henric Rolfsson. 1-0. When Gilbert Bokelund fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frösön's protests and gave Gilbert Bokelund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Frösön was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Bokelund to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Frösön booed when Reftele IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Reftele IF's zone, Kjell Linqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Telin came out of the goal and Kjell Linqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjell Linqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Reine Lundblad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reftele IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reine Lundblad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frösön's Henric Rolfsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reine Lundblad in the 46th minute of play. Michel Hylander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Henric Rolfsson came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Reftele IF's Reine Lundblad. But to his dismay, Reine Lundblad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Henric Rolfsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Hylander, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Gilbert Bokelund kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Kjell Linqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Kjell Linqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frösön fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Reftele IF's zone, Kjell Linqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Telin came out of the goal and Kjell Linqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eric Telin was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Alvar Malmberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alvar Malmberg really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Alvar Malmberg hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, William Benett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frösön's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reftele IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Frösön's William Benett got a free kick in the 79th minute. Henric Rolfsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reine Lundblad in the 80th minute of play. Kjell Linqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Telin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Gilbert Bokelund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Telin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Bokelund got free with Eric Telin in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eric Telin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svante Wallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, one of Reftele IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Eric Telin, was totally fooled by Frösön's Kevin Axelsson, who 92 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kjell Linqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Telin having to interfere. Frösön's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
