Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1610, VIP seats: 140) 3 minutes into the match, Reftele IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Olofsson came free, but Eric Telin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Hylander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Staffan Beckström kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, Reftele IF's David Hultman got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hampus Ström. Eric Telin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Åberg in the 19th minute of the match. Ulf Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eric Telin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Reftele IF booed when Rastas FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Johnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ulf Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Olofsson in the 36th minute of play forced Reftele IF's goalkeeper Eric Telin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Leif Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Telin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Hylander struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Hampus Ström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reftele IF. Rastas FK's Leif Åberg got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulf Olofsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Reftele IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernt Hafström who took care of the corner kick. In the 54th minute of the match Rastas FK got a corner. Reftele IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernt Hafström ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Rastas FK's corner Bernt Hafström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eric Telin quite easily take care of the ball. 54 minutes into the game Bernt Hafström kicked a great long shot which passed Eric Telin straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-2. One couldn't see Bernt Hafström behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reftele IF's goalkeeper Eric Telin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eric Telin was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Ulf Olofsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ulf Olofsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Eric Telin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Leif Åberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rastas FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Åberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Telin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Olofsson in the 70th minute of play forced Reftele IF's goalkeeper Eric Telin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Telin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Henrik Glanselius. If Ulf Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leif Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Eric Telin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Thomas Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ulf Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Telin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Olofsson in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Rastas FK booed when Reftele IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Eklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leif Åberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Eric Telin made a huge save. Eric Telin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulf Olofsson's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Reftele IF's Reine Lundblad got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rastas FK played a much better game than Reftele IF and deserved their victory. The Reftele IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
