Spectators: 7261 (Terracing: 5447, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Jörn Ödmann made the kick off and thus started the match. When Jonatan Vacker came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the FC Gulag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Vacker couldn't finish the play. Ulf Beck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klas Thorsberg in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Jörn Ödmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Håning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Karl-Axel Kilberg fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ljungbyholm's protests and gave Karl-Axel Kilberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes FC Gulag got a freekick which was hit by Alf Salkvist. Klas Thorsberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Ulf Beck skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Björn Abrahamsson kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Jonatan Vacker took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Håning. David Håning dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Jonatan Vacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klas Thorsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ulf Beck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Jörn Ödmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Håning was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute, Klas Thorsberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ljungbyholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to FC Gulag getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Martin Kilström hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Thorsberg in the 64th minute of play forced FC Gulag's goalkeeper Ulf Beck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gulag's goalkeeper Ulf Beck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urban Låsberg took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulf Beck. Ulf Beck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Ljungbyholm's David Håning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Ödmann in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Urban Låsberg notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of FC Gulag's Ulf Beck. Ulf Beck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungbyholm's zone, Jörn Ödmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Håning came out of the goal and Jörn Ödmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Håning acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jonas Kinnman. David Håning made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Jonatan Vacker sent off a good shot on target. Ljungbyholm's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
