The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. John Fernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Kielstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John Fernström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jon Kielstedt's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Jens-Ola Sundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trensum BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Ola Sundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John Fernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ola Sundin in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Trensum BF's Torbjörn Salkvist got a free kick in the 16th minute. Michel Bergren struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Örjan Godholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LIVAIS. John Fernström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Kielstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Jon Kielstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Fernström having to interfere. Jens-Ola Sundin might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over John Fernström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Ola Sundin ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, LIVAIS's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ola Sundin came free, but John Fernström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Jon Kielstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximilian Strömberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Örjan Godholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jon Kielstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Sundin in the 46th minute of play forced LIVAIS's goalkeeper John Fernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Trensum BF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens-Ola Sundin was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Jens-Ola Sundin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trensum BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. LIVAIS's John Fernström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ola Sundin in the 60th minute of play. Christian Sundström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Örjan Godholm. Trensum BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Maximilian Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game, LIVAIS's Maximilian Strömberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Örjan Godholm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Maximilian Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Trensum BF's John Fernström threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jens-Ola Sundin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Jon Kielstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon Kielstedt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Trensum BF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. LIVAIS's John Fernström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save LIVAIS from getting a goal against them. John Fernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ola Sundin in the 88th minute of play. Maximilian Strömberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Jon Kielstedt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 94th minute Jens-Ola Sundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Fernström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jon Kielstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Trensum BF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
