In the 11th minute Klas Thorsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiph Lilja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ingemar Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Härnösand FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingemar Blom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Håning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Tor Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filiph Lilja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urban Låsberg went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 34 played minutes Härnösand FF got a freekick which was hit by Verner Hellqvist. Filiph Lilja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klas Thorsberg's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Georg Västerstrand recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Håning. Georg Västerstrand showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 47th match minute, Härnösand FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingemar Blom to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute of the match Pontus Falkrantz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filiph Lilja showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urban Låsberg was the one to do the kick off. Klas Thorsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Axel Kilberg during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Härnösand FF's Filiph Lilja got control of the ball when Klas Thorsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filiph Lilja, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Urban Låsberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filiph Lilja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Klas Thorsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Filiph Lilja made a huge save. Urban Låsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Filiph Lilja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Georg Västerstrand might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Håning. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Georg Västerstrand ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Verner Hellqvist during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Härnösand FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verner Hellqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Johnny Valström fired a really elegant long shot, but Filiph Lilja threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. The supporters of Ljungbyholm booed when Härnösand FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Härnösand FF's Filiph Lilja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Låsberg in the 91st minute of play. Filiph Lilja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urban Låsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiph Lilja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klas Thorsberg in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Johnny Valström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filiph Lilja showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Härnösand FF had won after a very even match.
