The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Henrik Lindholm put in a rough tackle. 7 minutes into the game, one of IK Stolpskott:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. IK Stolpskott:s Yngve Helander showed great skill when he stopped Evert Hjeltman:s penalty. Henrik Låsberg hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 11 played minutes, GånghesterSK's Evert Hjeltman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yngve Helander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GånghesterSK reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Andréas Rang managed to get in a good position for a shot. IK Stolpskott's supporters rose to their feet, but Andréas Rang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Erik Eklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrik Låsberg hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Yngve Helander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Linquist in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Joacim Bredberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Helander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mark Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Brask took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yngve Helander. Yngve Helander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Yngve Helander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joacim Bredberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Andréas Rang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Erik Eklund having to make a save. After having played for 35 minutes, Mark Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IK Stolpskott's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Lindgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GånghesterSK's Jan-Erik Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andréas Rang in the 37th minute of play. Jan-Erik Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Rang in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, IK Stolpskott's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Brask came free, but Yngve Helander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to GånghesterSK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Evert Hjeltman hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, GånghesterSK's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Eklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herman Hedlund. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Andréas Rang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Andréas Rang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Erik Eklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Jim Sundberg fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GånghesterSK's protests and gave Jim Sundberg a yellow card for diving instead. Jim Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, GånghesterSK's goal looked a bit too open when Andréas Rang came free, but Jan-Erik Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andréas Rang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Joacim Bredberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes IK Stolpskott got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Hedling. Yngve Helander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joacim Bredberg in the 79th minute of the match. IK Stolpskott's Yngve Helander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joacim Bredberg in the 81st minute of play. Jim Sundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Yngve Helander made a huge save. Thomas Linquist came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yngve Helander could save by the left post. In the 85th minute of the match, Thomas Linquist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yngve Helander was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Andréas Rang scored 2-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Erik Eklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mark Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Eklund having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see IK Stolpskott lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
