After 12 minutes of play, Enskede's Charles Kvalfält made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Per Ekblom was left in no man's land by his defense there! Charles Kvalfält in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Per Ekblom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charles Kvalfält went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Ove Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per Ekblom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert Myhr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Matfors IF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Morgan Åström hit a great ball. Enskede's Charles Kvalfält got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eddie Ennegren's late challenge caught a Matfors IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eddie Ennegren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Enskede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Ennegren to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute of the match Georg Carlsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig Eckegren skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Charles Kvalfält managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Enskede's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Kvalfält was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charles Kvalfält received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Per Ekblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matfors IF's Per Ekblom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Myhr in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Fredrik Frykberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hubert Myhr to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Myhr in the 61st minute of play forced Matfors IF's goalkeeper Per Ekblom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Enskede's Charles Kvalfält nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per Ekblom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 71 played minutes Matfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Wiktor Collin. Hubert Myhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Per Ekblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredrik Frykberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, Martin Bergman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matfors IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Enskede the free kick. 76 minutes into the game, one of Matfors IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Hubert Myhr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Enskede's supporters rose to their feet, but Hubert Myhr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Ekblom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fredrik Frykberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Kvalfält fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Ekblom having to interfere. Hubert Myhr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enskede's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
