After a rather tough play, BKBB's Carl Wallmark got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Lindgren in the 11th minute of play forced Södra Sunderbyn BF's goalkeeper Jimmie Falk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Linus Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olle Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jimmie Falk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isak Östman during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Isak Östman hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ted Hamberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erling Stenquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Ahlbeck in the 29th minute of the match. Erling Stenquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Ahlbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrik Bure kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Ted Hamberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Södra Sunderbyn BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Hamberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olle Lindgren to make the kick off. BKBB's Erling Stenquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Ahlbeck in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Ted Hamberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Södra Sunderbyn BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Hamberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Ted Hamberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erling Stenquist. BKBB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ted Hamberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Wiktor Qvalfeldt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Södra Sunderbyn BF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Olle Lindgren scored to the left of an out of position Jimmie Falk, making the score, 2-1. In the 87th minute, Ted Hamberg made a precise shot to the right of Erling Stenquist. BKBB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Södra Sunderbyn BF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
