Spectators: 6688 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1688, VIP seats: 0) If Håkan Jernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Överum IF were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Leijona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Magne Mårtensson took the corner. In the 9th minute, Edgar Vallengren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Leijona fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Leijona's Edgar Vallengren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Göran Holm came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Leijona's Edgar Vallengren. But to his dismay, Edgar Vallengren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With an all-out effort, Överum IF's Erland Sävström threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Håkan Jernberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Överum IF booed when Leijona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Fribäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Edgar Vallengren made a precise shot to the right of Göran Holm. Överum IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Göran Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Vallengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 35 minutes, Isaac Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leijona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Söderström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göran Holm came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Leijona's Edgar Vallengren. But to his dismay, Edgar Vallengren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 47th minute, one of Leijona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Leijona. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

In the 56th minute, Isaac Söderström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erland Sävström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Österberg in the 59th minute of the match. Håkan Jernberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erland Sävström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Edgar Vallengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Ralf Larsfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Sävström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sten Fribäck during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Leijona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Fribäck to maneuver through the defense. Erland Sävström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Jernberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Göran Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Vallengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Vallengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Holm having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Överum IF's Erland Bergman got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 82 minutes of play, Överum IF's Håkan Jernberg made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erland Sävström was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Vallengren in the 86th minute of play forced Överum IF's goalkeeper Göran Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Österberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erland Sävström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils Österberg ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Vallengren in the 89th minute of play forced Överum IF's goalkeeper Göran Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Söderström might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Göran Holm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Söderström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute, Edgar Vallengren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Göran Holm. The goal made the score 2-5. 101 minutes into the match, Leijona's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Jernberg came free, but Erland Sävström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Överum IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Leijona were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
