Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugo Stensson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Brian Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Kristineberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Broaryd IFK the free kick. After 20 played minutes Kristineberg got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Strömberg. Thor Biörkman, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hugo Stensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Odman in the 22nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Blom made a kick off. The Broaryd IFK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
