Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Broaryd IFK's Per Bank proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Broaryd IFK from getting a goal against them. In the last second Per Bank throw himself and got hold of the ball when Per-Erik Lekberg in the 7thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Per-Erik Lekberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per Bank. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per-Erik Lekberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Per-Erik Lekberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrian Smed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Per Bank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claes Lidström's late challenge caught a Södertälje Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claes Lidström helped the player get up and apologised. Per Bank made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Smed in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Adrian Smed cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Per Bank was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the game, Ingvar Odman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Broaryd IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Södertälje Tigers the free kick. After a rather tough play, Broaryd IFK's Ingvar Odman got a free kick in the 26th minute. With a little luck, Broaryd IFK's Per Bank got control of the ball when Adrian Smed tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ingvar Odman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Carlsson having to interfere. Adrian Smed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Per Bank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Bank took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Erik Lekberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Erik Lekberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Lekberg in the 52nd minute of play forced Broaryd IFK's goalkeeper Per Bank to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Södertälje Tigers's Per-Erik Lekberg got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sonny Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Odman in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Bernt Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Carlsson having to interfere. Södertälje Tigers's Sonny Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Odman in the 91st minute of play. Bernt Engström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Bank having to interfere. Per Bank showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Lekberg in the 94th minute of the match. If Adrian Smed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
