Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Per-Erik Lekberg kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes, Sorunda IFK's Nils-Åke Hultman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sonny Carlsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sorunda IFK reached it. Johan Koch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 minutes of play, Södertälje Tigers's Adrian Smed made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Hallgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Sorunda IFK's zone, Per-Erik Lekberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Hallgren came out of the goal and Per-Erik Lekberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Hallgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Lekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Adrian Smed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dan Hallgren came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Södertälje Tigers's Per-Erik Lekberg. But to his dismay, Per-Erik Lekberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dan Lenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sorunda IFK's Dan Hallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Lekberg in the 37th minute of play. Per-Erik Lekberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sonny Carlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Kiempe in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Lekberg in the 47th minute of play forced Sorunda IFK's goalkeeper Dan Hallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Folke Kiempe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per-Erik Lekberg hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Per-Erik Lekberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, Bernt Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 minutes, Mårten Britz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Södertälje Tigers and the Sorunda IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sorunda IFK booed when Södertälje Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mårten Britz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Södertälje Tigers's Adrian Smed sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Hallgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Adrian Smed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaj Ingemarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Per-Erik Lekberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dan Hallgren. Per-Erik Lekberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Dan Hallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Erik Lekberg in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Adrian Smed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Södertälje Tigers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
