The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Patrik Blixt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evert Blomquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Birger Heggert went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrik Blixt got free with Evert Blomquist in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 17 minutes, Rickard Högberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medien Empire Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Högberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rickard Högberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herman Paulin struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Evert Blomquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lomma FC. After a rather tough play, Medien Empire Club's Egil Lindgren got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lomma FC's goalkeeper Otto Alström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 39 minutes, Karl Fågel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medien Empire Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Fågel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Medien Empire Club getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alex Hultstrand hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Fritz Dahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 57th minute Herman Paulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Blomquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evert Blomquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herman Paulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Lomma FC's Otto Alström got control of the ball when Karl Fågel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evert Blomquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Paulin in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lomma FC's zone, Rickard Högberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otto Alström came out of the goal and Rickard Högberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Högberg in the 70th minute of play forced Lomma FC's goalkeeper Otto Alström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Medien Empire Club's Evert Blomquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Blixt in the 72nd minute of play. Karl Fågel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otto Alström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Medien Empire Club's Karl Fågel got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Patrik Blixt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute Pär Molin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otto Alström made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Karl Fågel sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Medien Empire Club booed when Lomma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Walroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Medien Empire Club's Rasmus Ekman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Otto Alström but with some difficulty. Evert Blomquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Blixt in the 93rd minute of play.
