Emil Tham scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Örn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell-Arne Classon in the 11th minute of play forced Vemhån's goalkeeper Tony Örn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Olenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vemhån's Tony Örn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uno Ros in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Uno Ros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Örn. Vemhån's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uno Ros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Tham in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Örn saved Vemhån from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vemhån fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Martin Wennerberg's late challenge caught a Vemhån's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Wennerberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Martin Wennerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Olenberg got free with Nils-Erik Öberg in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Gilbert Deckberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Vemhån players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kårböle were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emil Tham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uno Ros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Örn having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Emil Tham recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tony Örn. Emil Tham showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. If Emil Tham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Örn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uno Ros in the 70th minute. Emil Tham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tony Örn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludvig Zander's late challenge caught a Kårböle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
